nifty idea, very challanging indeed. a little graphics uplift and adding some sound effects would make this entry great.

i look forward to other submissions from you and would be happy to create some customized music in the future. the current one you are using was a total experiment for me and doesn't loop too good :)

i can also create some custom sound effects if you have need of them. also actionscript assistance as i am primarily a programmer, not a composer ;)

hm, getting there

getting there but still a long way to go ;)

1) last poster is right, that cheap synth is out of place; choose something a little more flowing, a little Release would help wonders! and some lowpass to get rid of that high pitched twinge

2) the cymbals NEED to be replaced by a bright hat with quick decay or a ride (either one needing highpass and decent Q to make them ticky or splashy)

those two would do a lot, but theres style and potential here

the samples in the beat are good.

the synths are absolutely awful though, consider sound fonts or a different generator.

this is good for a first and i mean that. its not something i'd want to download and listen to, but given a year or two of practice i probably will.
